We are a family-owned and operated Eco-friendly high quality refurbished Hybrid Battery Company, operating from our Off-Grid property in beautiful Central Oregon, just 30 miles East of Bend Oregon.

I have been in the automobile industry my whole life, until a motorcycle accident left me paralyzed from the waist down in 96. Having to shut down my Auto Shop in 2002 after 25 years, I decided to buy 120 acres and move off the grid.

In 2007 I decided to go to college so I could learn how to make Hydrogen from solar power. I want to work on Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles. After 7 years of college at Central Oregon Community College (COCC) and Oregon State University (OSU)

I took the Hybrid Automotive classes at COCC while in the Energy Systems Engineering program at OSU. I took the opportunity to take over 2nd Life Battery LLC from founder Allen Light.

After one year of using Automotive Research and Design (AR&D) to refurbish my Hybrid Batteries that I was selling to the taxi cab repair shops in Seattle, I was able to acquire the best-built equipment from AR&D in Port Angeles and start building the best Hybrid Battery Refurbished “Bricks” (balanced module sets) for many popular Hybrids on the market today.

I am a Part Time Hybrid Automotive Instructor at COCC in Spring 2017. I am very passionate about keeping these High-Tech autos on the Highways long after the factory warranty has expired. We take your refurbished hybrid battery seriously!
